  • Engage in Internet Governance Forum and World Summit on the Information Society Forums
  • Encourage partner countries to initiate legislative changes on privacy and data protection
  • Capacity building of human rights defenders, journalists, media actors
  • Facilitate coordination and consultations with international and local stakeholders
  • Facilitate exchange of good practices with third countries
  • Provide technical assistance to third countries to develop unhindered and safe access to Internet
  • Ensure application of Council Common Position on export of listed military technology and equipment
  • Adherence to recommendations of the Council of Europe and UNESCO on media and internet freedom
  • Facilitate exchange of good practices with third countries for legislative reform
