- Promote action at international level to prevent sale of surveillance and censorship technology to authoritarian regimes
- Ensure application of Council Common Position on export of listed military technology and equipment
- Promote implementation of the guidance for ICT/telecommunications companies on business and human rights
- Engage in Internet Governance Forum and World Summit on the Information Society Forums
- Encourage partner countries to initiate legislative changes on privacy and data protection
- Capacity building of human rights defenders, journalists, media actors
- Facilitate coordination and consultations with international and local stakeholders
- Facilitate exchange of good practices with third countries
- Provide technical assistance to third countries to develop unhindered and safe access to Internet
- Ensure application of Council Common Position on export of listed military technology and equipment
- Adherence to recommendations of the Council of Europe and UNESCO on media and internet freedom
- Facilitate exchange of good practices with third countries for legislative reform
